Our Story

Sycamore Cabin Recording Studio was founded by Nashville singer-songwriter, Sarah Peacock in 2021.

Meet Your Producer, Engineer, and Studio Owner, Sarah Peacock…

Originally an Atlanta, GA native, Sarah Peacock came to Nashville in 2001 to pursue a music degree at Belmont University. She graduated in 2005 and hit the road as a touring singer-songwriter, where she has established her career as touring artist for 17 years.

Peacock has won multiple awards for her songwriting and has built a rabid fan base during her time on the road. Her most recent record, Burn The Witch, was fan-funded via Kickstarter at nearly $50,000.

Having co-produced many of her own albums since 2007, her production instincts were nurtured from an early age. Throughout her many years of apprenticing and studying the art of studio production, Sarah has grown to love producing for others as much as she loves being an artist in her own right. Sarah is a multi-instrumentalist and plays guitar, bass, keys, and drums on many of the tracks she produces at the studio.

Having her own home studio has always been a dream, and during the height of the pandemic Peacock made the decision to take that leap of faith. Sycamore Cabin Recording Studio was born!

Sarah and her daughter, Willow, live on site in the main cabin. They have three dogs, a cat. When she’s not on the road touring her own records or producing for other artists, Sarah owns and operates a videography and photography business called, Peacock Media. Peacock Media produces music videos and photography for entertainment industry clients, and offers creative direction services for various projects. Sarah has written a children’s book and is also a chef!
